My Story

“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” – Walt Disney

Being curious about something new and different has always been my compass, it seems. My venture into hospitality began when this young, bright eyed woman shadowed a hotel's banquet team
to confirm my interest. After three successful events, an outpour of enthusiasm and my unique approach, a position was created for me. This led to a swift, vivid career progression spreading the warmth and light of Hospitality.

A wise woman once told me, "be brave. take risks. nothing can substitute experience." Later, as the Director of Hospitality for Unidine Corporation at Moorings Park, I oversaw the training and development for all front of the house partners across three vibrant campuses. As fate would have it, that multitasking skill set evolved into being recruited for a multi-regional position within a management and consulting company. As with any position I have had, the one thing I love the most about my job is the excitement that no two days are the same. Each day has its own opportunities and rewards. Each day is its own success story.

Woven between the traditional yet unconventional career path came a thorough understanding of systems, operations, cultures, leadership and a sparked passion. Sharing this knowledge to help others achieve more has been my inspiration.

Stemming from that avid thirst for knowledge, when I am not working (the rare occasion), you can find me snuggled up with a good book and a warm blanket beside my pooch, Biscuit. Curious about other cultures and food, I enjoy traveling to different continents and meeting new people. On my last trip to Kenya, I was humbled to visit a Masai village and connect with the children. 'For if we could all see the world through the eyes of a child, we would see the magic in everything.'
